A Deep Tissue Massage uses slow rhythmic massage strokes requiring a more sustained and deeper pressure. This pressure is used to help break down adhesions in the deeper muscles and soft tissues of the body, reducing muscle tension in treated areas as well as promoting overall relaxation.
